# Stratasys F170/F370

The **Stratasys** [**F170** ](https://www.stratasys.com/en/3d-printers/printer-catalog/fdm-printers/f170/)**and** [**F370**](https://www.stratasys.com/en/3d-printers/printer-catalog/fdm-printers/f370/)**s** are professional-grade Fused Deposition Modeling (FDM) printers, primarily used to print durable and functional prototypes. Along with a large print volume, these printers support a variety of materials as well as dissolvable supports, allowing users to produce high-quality, accurate parts with complex geometries.

The AMS has one F170 and one F370, which are available for labs, AE class projects, and club activities, using the **Professional Print Queue**. While similar, the F370 has a larger build volume and wider range of material compatibility. After printing, parts are put in a base bath to dissolve the supports, followed by washing and drying before collection.&#x20;
