# GTAE SimpleDAQ

Georgia Tech Aerospace Engineering Simple Data AcQuisition

## Introduction

GTAE SimpleDAQ is an application that allows the user to analyze any time-domain signal and provides features of power spectrum analysis, digital filtering, as well as the flexibility to adjust the sampling rate and record length. The GTAE Simple DAQ is built using the LabVIEW™ software interface and the LabJack™ T4 data acquisition (DAQ) device.

This section elaborates the requirements to use the GTAE Simple DAQ for signal analysis

### Hardware Requirements

* [ ] Desktop or laptop (OS: Windows, macOS)
* [ ] LabJack™ T4
* [ ] USB cable connecting LabJack™ T4 to computer
* [ ] Signal/waveform source (sensors, etc.)
* [ ] Connecting wires

### Software Requirements

* [ ] LabJack™ T4 device drivers
* [ ] GTAE Simple DAQ executable

The LabJack™ T4 device drivers must be installed first in order to use the GTAE Simple DAQ application. The software files required to be downloaded and installed are listed below:

## Description

### LabJack T4

The LabJack T4 is a multifunction data acquisition device that can use USB, Ethernet, and WiFi-based measurement and automation to provide analog and digital inputs and outputs.
